I like this "Sir" business as it makes a refreshing change to be called Sir and not have it followed up by an offer for a credit card!
It seemed proper for the new Leader
He approves. Ehh, he being me of course, I am merely toying with the way it will read when I have someone else writing things on my behalf.
See, I like that too, as now it appears that I am running a quasi democracy as you got the chance to volunteer before being volunteered. Oh and having Snoopy on your application's letterhead did you absolutely no harm either for the record!
Hmph. I thought you already were Undisputed World Leader.
Really? No, not yet, this world will be A LOT different when I am and trust me you will know! Oh and now I will need an alpaca to ride in the backseat of my car - the list just gets longer and longer.
Let me know how I can help! Oh, and I thought it was a llama. But alpacas are adorable, too, and there should be more of them riding around in backseats of cars at random intervals. That alone would bring about world peace. :D
Hmm, perhaps you are right, oh well, the only way to settle this is to have a llama AND and alpaca in the backseat, can't be seen to be showing prejudice unnecessarily now can we?!
Definitely not; animal prejudice is bad. So there should be a goat, too, because I love goats.
If I keep listening to you it's going to be a damn petting zoo!
ROFL! That's okay, it'll soften your image, Undisputed World Leader. ;D
I will have to get a fluffer for my image then ;).
Me too! So then, who's been cashing all those cheques I've been posting?
Lord, I miss you when you make yourself scarce!
I have no idea on the cheque situation, but I am rather impressed that you spelled cheque the way you did. Oh, I think I should mention, in case you know anyone who is interested, there will be a job opening delivering my mail in the very near future as it appears my current postie will be taking a permanent leave of absence.
Re: "cheque", we live in Buffalo, NY, but we prefer to think we live in southern Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Uh, EXTREME southern Toronto! Especially during the Bush years...
Frankly, a lot of the ways words are spelt in Amurrican English lack elegance.
Re: the mail, OOOOH, OOOOH! Can I? Oh wait, it would mean moving, wouldn't it? Sorry...
I have to be honest and say I don't blame you one little bit! I have actually been to Buffalo, NY, well the airport. I caught a taxi from Niagara Falls to Buffalo airport. It was quite an experience getting hauled in by the US border customs guys. They thought it was strange that I was from Australia with a UK passport, my then wife had a passport in her maiden name and our cabbie was an Aussie. They kept us waiting for an hour or so, made us pay some kind of invented tax so they could go out drinking on Friday night and let us go. Luckily we were on a fixed fare so the meter wasn't running.
Well, it would mean either moving or one heck of a commute ;).
OMG it's you! Remember meeeee? It's been a few years but I would love to catch up if you remember/have time to. :)
Heck yeah I remember you :)! You were around these parts, ie my LJ, near the beginning and now that I am even closer to World Domination you want back on the bandwagon, well what can I say, take a seat because you are always welcome - though the chain I will be attaching to your ankle isn't just a kink of mine, it serves a dual purpose of making sure you don't disappear again! *Grin*.
I am so glad to finally hear from you. I assumed you didn't remember me. I am pretty forgettable. ^_^ Anyways, how has everything been? I've missed you!! :) I like the sound of the chain. ;)!
Things have been weird. I am now divorced, my Dad died and I am still watching the world and understanding a little less each day - I think that's the way it's supposed to be, but hey, as long as you are good with chains all is right in this world ;).
